Thats a very nice name SW, though I'm not completely sure of the Sohnen actually having names for their ships at all.
At any case these babies will only appear in specific situations..they are way too uber to let loose in the normal Galaxy.

Nice to Al_main's progressed the *Bleep*... Will there still be a *BleepBleep* Or will there be some battle with the *BiepBiepBiep*?
Personally I thought the final mission was a nice reward... but that's up to you guys ofcourse...

The *Bleep* is still classified :wink: and/or subject to change!
The only thing that can be confirmed is that it will feature the nice new sohnen ships in partsa and also tie in with afew other things added from Xtended to some degree....
gotta love those ships...
great work with the m2 model :roll: the only one 1 didnt like as much was the m7 model( sortof reminds me of some kind of massive space concorde***sacre bleu!*** ), still cool though 8)

Oh so the *BleepBleep* will lead to *BiepBiepBiep* I have to admit I still like your idea of a twist in the *Bleep*...
My money is still with the *Bleep*... It keeps it simple the *BleepBleep* is likely to cause enough confusion as it is!!!
Oh and like the *Bleep* missions so far... Great to see them come from page to reality...

SW; I agree...it's got so much potential.
Realy miss youre input on this too...Ive only recently discovered the X2 Bonus pack which comes with a full time-line of X-events up untill now and I was amazed by the opportunities it yields.
Such is the X-Universe...I love the depths and various layers all carefully weaved together.

Plus I have a few bones to grind into axes with regards the historical portrayal of some of the races... but you know that one already... ;)
After all it'd only be slightly skewed and reads so much better...

If you attack it with a Leviathan you will die.
If you attack if with a Valhalla you will die.
If you attack if with a Titan you will die.
If you attack it with a Nova you will hear laughter.
You will die, die, die.
Or...someting else will happen which is even more anoying, and you will also die due to the consequences.
These Sohnen ships are basically unbeatable.

seriously now if im in a valhalla and i attack an m2 will i die in horrible pain ?
when it comes to the sohnen M3 i sure as hell know that i aint supposed to go near it no matter what the cost(dont ask how)
If Sohnen ships were to use LV's cheat scripts by themselves then truely they have passed beyond the realms of the game-engine and we would win the Nobel price for AI-coding.
I take it you mean LV's Race Response Fleets.
No worries there, they will be excluded from it ;-)
I can't comment any more then I already have on the Sohnen abilities and what to- and -more importantly- what not to do.

Amazing work, Mox, especially with the texture mapping - It looks really clean and neat, even moreso than usual for some reason.

Actually I would be amazed if you would manage to take down a M7 with that fleet ... If you do , all it would be left of it would be your space suit...
A M2 or worse , a M0 , well , it's not suicide , it's definitly suicide no matter what you would have...
As Mox said , the Sohnen ships are made to be impossible to beat in normal ways.
Well , maybe with about 400 Typhoons you could get their shields down...
With 10 Titans, the first that would say *Beep* is my copy of X3, followed
by laughter from the CPU.
Sohnen are pussies, I beat them all the time in my disco.

The Sohnen gave it to me when I completed a mission for them.
'Here, you can have our disco-ball' they said.
It's very big -like almost 50km acros- and has 400 Beamlasers.
