Nice offer from someone on Egosoft forum:
Greets XTM,
I am in the process of doing a new set of maps for the X3 universe, and wanted to touch base with you regarding any changes to sectors, critical stations, special stations, etc. If you do so in the Xtended Mod (and I'm not entirely sure if you do), I would be glad to make a special map for your mod and host it along with the others I'm doing.
To date, I have a standard X3 map that will be going out probably tomorrow (Saturday the 23rd) for the unmodified X3 Universe, and one for the XFP Mod which has already gone through revision via their forums.
If you'd like a sneak peek at either map, here are some links before they go out to the public:
* New X3 Map - Standard Universe (1mb, 720dpi, PDF)
* New X3 Map - XFP Mod Universe (1mb, 720dpi, PDF)
I have various resolutions to satisfy modem users, standard gamers, and the hard core types that like 6-foot maps plastered on their walls. Let me know if this sounds like something your mod needs and/or deserves and I'll give it my attention. Wink
Cheers.

Accepted and promised to return our special yard coordinates and such
to be put on the map.
I'd like us to seriously consider to fixate all our Shipyards and special locations. For one they keep yielding questions, not that big a concern but still.. More important is the fact they are random means their accesability suffers tremendously.
Though charming at first, I'd much rather have all players having easy access
to ships sold over there then looking for them and giving up because of frustration or not knowing even where to look.
Might be chystal clear for us but I dont think it is.
Imo .6C should feature a much bigger nr of users telling us about Scrapyard bought vessels then currently are about....I dont think anyone uses any.
Note: This guy would no doubt also be very happy to facilitate us with a PDF of our own Custom Universe.
