this is the New beta of the shipyard script please test it :)

uninstall 2.00b first, by turning off the al plugin and save and exit and install new script load & play

things to include in report posts:
• total Playing time from when script install to the point when you find each SY?
• what SY has been found?
• where was it found? (i.e. Sector, X-coordinate, Y-coordinate, Z-coordinate) this won\'t be relevant to all games, it just helps me to see if they\'re spawning too close or too far
• what does it sell?
• are the prices normal?
• anything that is not normal?

i would of expected some sort of reply from my sidekicks, with something to report ???

Either...
• you haven\'t tested it
• you can\'t find the shipyards
• or you\'re very lazy :)

hehe theres a lot of ground to cover. :o

Weelllllll hehe can\'t seem to find them. Im thinking of trying to script sats in all sectors and look thru them one at a time.

I can tell you so far nothing serious has happened no CTD or restarting and such

Also to be honest I was pretty busy last week. Will be spending more time this week to try and look things over.

UPDATE:

O0 Ok Argon SY found in Aladna Hill. I didn\'t do to much to try and crash it or debug it much but after a quick look everything looks good. I will script money in and such this weekend and start buying ships to see what I can throw a wrench into and look for more SYs.

BTW RL and work sucks

atleast i know you are doing something,

i was just checking you hadn\'t signed up and left :D

the shipyards can be spawned upto 50km out from the center of a sector,

HINT: the hidden SY is in unkown sector (16,8) at: x=75000 y=0 z=-75000
the hidden sy isn\'t random just so you know ;)

hehe That helps.  BTW to help ppl that do not know the location u might want to think about BBS dropping hints every now and then.

This just released. A Boron Freighter captain claims to have seen an unknown shipyard under construction.  When asked later by reporters where he seen this shipyard he stated \"Oh I forgot to get coordinates.\"  So for now this unknown shipyard remains an unsolved mystery.  Boron officials where reported to have said, \"This new shipyard, be it from what ever unknown sector, must be sought out to insure our peaceful ways and to find out where its allegiance lays

dogbite > well its meant to be difficult to find as they are a privelege to use ;)

what to look for:

• they should only spawn in their own race sectors (i.e. as wwolf_1 said argon SY in aladna hill.)
• they should only sell their own race ships (i.e. argon ships in argon SY)
• do they have shields
• are they named (i.e. no \"Readtext\")

things to include in report posts:

I think i found 1 at: Argon Prime @ 2,44,10

It\'s called Stevio Argon Ship Co.

And sells Cerberus and Orbital Weapons Platform XL

I\'ll try to buy and see what happens.......

Time uh i don\'t know the satallite found it not very far from center, plus i just spent the since yesterday morning playing....i\'m sure it wasn\'t there this morning, plus i found a way to find them....look for taxi out of range they come and go like a normal station....

Right now let choose the bank to rob to get the money....mental note security cameras.....

if i had been playing since 10:00 (GMT) until now i would post i had been playing 5 ½ Hours ;)

Hey

The playing time is about 2h of game time as i set up a tour of duty just before i install the beta and it just finished, real time it\'s about 6 hours

check your log book locations of SY should be displayed for easier testing

I guess the log book only has shown the new ones as before reinstalling the script i have 2 SY:

The Wall... empty
and Argon Prime...normal

both witht the right name

The empty SY was the first one in the list so wonder if it still running the old script i\'ll try to reinit the cache and see it happen again.

The hidden didn\'t show in the log and it\'s still there in the unknown sector. ;D

A good tip if you can\'t find the stations

if you see a ship going to the middle of nowhere check it scripts and if it says cmdmove.std just follow it

that was very usefull to find the yaki std O0

Locked!! until after 0.6 of the Xtended mod is released

not sure whats happening atm ???

Mox > is it to be merged in or what i can\'t remember ???
