Ok i chose these script by first seeing if they are compatible with xtm or not and by permissions we already have (More haven't got - serial kicked).

This is just the first stage, initial scripts, testing and gaining permission is likely to change the scripts we have.

Of course, you can use my script for your bonus pack. Just be aware of the following:

GAIUS (which is required for the FCS MK3, no standalone-version intended yet) is only a beta version, so there'll always be some bugs I'm unable to fix. For example, there's a bug with docking ships. In additional, it overwrites some of the XTM scripts (such as the !fight.attack.object script), but, of course, there's a combined version.

The next GAIUS version will include a new version of OCS Apollo. Of course, there'll be a XTM-version of it (though the XTM team just changed the behaviour towards life forms), but there's no OCS Apollo version intended. What I want to say, is, that OCS Apollo won't work with GAIUS, so you'll have to decide or to warn the users that only one of them will be able to run (Laureati already allowed it)

Well, that's it so far. However, it's necessary to use the correct features of the Script packager to create a .spk-version of these scripts as they're a bit ... complex ^^


btw: You always have the permission to include my scripts into your package as long as they're no alpha versions. My personal suggestion is the Optimised Targeting Script, a script that fixes the buggy X3 targeting and includes some more targeting hotkeys. It's already included in X3Plus.

Might be better not to include the script if there is a risk to have bugs & issues.

I would suggest to stop here and keep 5 scripts for this 1st SBP. (I do not recommend to include Nemeo's script, as it might conflict with Pilot AI from Azz)

If we agree on this, I will make a post to hire ppl for BT :)

I've been talking with cycrow about 'how' to use the convert tool, as soon as i manage to figure out how to convert them i will create the package and upload it.

I just had a go with Cycrow's packager.

I merged the 5 scripts and (hopefully) packaged them all. :)

Would you mind to install them and check if they install properly and are available in game please - Thx.

no, i don't think it does, i think you have choosen it to be an update package.

I have altered it, so it installs and not trying to update a original package:

well tried x3 with the new bonus pack.
i tried my most recent save, corrupted.
i tried an older save, i'm viewing inside the reaper
i tried ejecting from the reaper, guess what i was instead of an astranaut. the xpermental shuttle
There are far more problems than i can be bothered to write.

I will try to find out if it is the pack which is messing up.

Don't spend too much time on this SST. More likely, there are some files missing in the pack.
I will open them carefully one by one, take note of everything in them and pack them all again.

New pack coming soon. That's a BT before BT you made, thx, and don't get lost in space, we need you here !

The issue could come from something unattended:

I tried to open the .spk you gave me SST by using Cycrow's tool "SPK Explorer", and this is the message I get:

"The spk file is an invalid format, can only open the new SPK format file - unaible to open

Combat Commands - Xai Corp x3.1.0.spk
Combat Tractor - Bunny v1.30.spk
fixAttackCmd - Xai Corp X3.1.0.spk
MatchSpeed - DesertEagle v1.1.spk
missilebayextension - Stevio1.20.spk"Are these scripts the last version available, or is it my Cycrow's tool which is wrong. I am running Plugin Manager 2.12. (but under Vista Ultimate 32 bits)? Dunno :rolleyes:

However, I installed the files in X3 directories, tried to find all of them and packed them hopefully all:

I don't know what went wrong, after i installed the pack my save games were corrupted and if i could get on one of the save games. Either the names attached to the models were worng or the models had changed. i think something got changed that shoudn't have. btw i am using vista basic 64.

The trouble is, is that i don't know if it was a combined effect with me gradually trying to put my ship into x3 and the bonus pack.:?

Once i reinstall x3 i will have a clean install to try the bonus pack.

i've tested the scripts on a fresh install of x3, no xtm. the scripts worked.

i can't test the scripts on xtm atm as i'm trying to put my ships into x3.
