  1. Intense negotiations in the sector 1716

I hate to rise early in the morning. Can't get awake before 10:00 and two cups of coffee. But today it's different and you know why? I'm eager to test the view from the bridge of my brand new destroyer. The captain's chair is soft and amazingly comfortable. Around me the crew is busy running last minute checks and slowly, my mind starts drifting. I had the most amazing dream last night. I dreamed of a new home, a full sector working for my corporation. Profitsssss swelling my accounts!

  2. About XTC ST/UT advantages...

XTC is blessed with a better economy as X3TC. Automatically that means less opportunities as most of the goods are in excess. Unless you build your complexes to trade in crystals or high tech, basic items as food or energy won't bring you much. But there is also a good side. A healthy economy means you can buy and sell from the NPCs. ST and UT's, bring them on! Practically, with 10-12 traders you can shift in a great amount of goods steadily fattening your accounts...At the first sight, 3 days into ...

  3. Making friends with a shy fraternity of outcasts...

Well, normally I'm a trader. I like to be everyone's friend, cause that's when profit comes. Well, maybe not in league with Xenon or Khaak but they aren't bad either. Eliminating competition is also a part of the business (as long as they leave me alone) but psst, don't let anyone know! I'll deny I've ever said anything like this anyhow...
As I said, I'm a trader at heart but even the peaceful me recognizes the value of some very targeted pir... aaaa liberating acts. Especially since you ...

  4. About becoming friends with the Argon

by , 19-04-2011 at 08:22 PM (The trials and tribulations of Aerus Elles)
Now I had some experience and more importantly some credits under my belt I thought the time had come to dip into some trading. I've had found Emperor's Ridge and it contained an equipment and trading dock where I could upgrade my other ship with all sorts of command software.

First I needed to collect the Galactica. I could have commanded it to fly me on auto-pilot but I judged it too risky as it would have had to fly through pirate sectors. On my way to the Galactica (in Cloudbase ...

  5. About first steps and beginner's luck

by , 19-04-2011 at 07:22 PM (The trials and tribulations of Aerus Elles)
    Log entry: 768-05-01
My name is Aerus Essel and I've just started my adult life in the X3 universe. I worked hard to get my own ship and I'm ready to go. OK, so my ship is nothing more than a humble Buster and I've only got 1000 credits on me but hey, adventure is free right?!

My starting place is Argon Prime. I reckon I'll do some aimless wandering at first and then decide later what to do. I decide to go north first into safe territory. I might be eager for adventure but ...
