A Terran Adventure (Part 1)

Rate this Entry
Sitting in the Captains chair of my Terran Osaka flag ship "Spirit King" I let my mind wander aimlessly while I survey the status reports of my fleet. I remember how as a USC recruit I worked my way up the ranks of the ATF just so that I could visit Earth, and see the farm where my great grand parents grew up. I remember how the wayward Goners enlisted my help to re-establish their base in Elysium of Light. I remember how the OTAS corporation enlisted the services of me and my fleet to protect their interests. I remember how the Kha'ak, who tried to wipeout our Argon brothers and sisters, tried to establish a foothold in the Commonwealth and how I with some assistance from the Commonwealth races drove them back into their own sectors and taught them not to return.

The communications station pips with an incoming message, it is that irritating but useful Boron Mahi Ma who is currently eating me out of house and home on the ex-Xenon Hub "Spirit Nexus". After finally off-loading the 500 nividium he wanted, he is now asking for 750,000 crystals! Where in the Oort Cloud am I going to find 750,000 crystals?? Remembering that my self-sustaining M7M ammo complex is producing an excess of srystals I instruct the Hub's two buying ships to buy crystals for best price. Hopefully, this will provide a sustainable source of crystals without impacting on missile production too much.
