Picking up my claim software, jumpdrive, transporter and docking extension at Argon Prime Equipment dock. The trip over was uneventful. I will stop at The Wall power station to load up on E cell. Life is quite here in the core sectors. I fell asleep after entering Home of Light sector and didn’t wakeup until I came out of the gate into Argon Prime. It was the first real sleep I have had in a couple of weeks. Oh my I forgot about the ship I have here, I’ll have the Blastclaw striped and sold. I think I may use the entrainment lounge this stop and relax a bit before I hit the road. Well space.
I’m at the Power station in The Wall and still have a slight hangover from my layover at Argon Prime. I did an auto trade with the shipyard. I still can’t buy much of anything there yet. I think it’s funny. They will not sell me a ship But, they sure will take my spare ship and all the missiles that I could sell. I’m loaded up with E cells and ready to go. I think I’ll break in my Jumpdrive and check out Elena’s Fortune for ships before I go and check out Split Fire. I should be able to out run most of the Kha’ak and Pirates there. I was thinking of baiting them to come after me and run them off the main trade lanes. Once there I’ll jump to the gates and claim some ships and send them to safety before they can caught up with me. I will try out the claim and jumps extension in Elena’s Fortune first to work out any bugs before going to Split Fire.
Elena’s Fortune update
The jumpdrive are a blast. I was in sector for all but a minute when, I saw the profits scatter about. I found a Nova, Harrier Hauler, Falcon and a couple of Busters. The new software is great. I just fly up to 1.0 km away and bang its mine. I then transfer stuff out and tell it where to go. I am going to setup a Demeter to do rock harvesting then off to Split Fire.
Split Fire Salvage
I have been in the Split Fire sector for about two hours now. I have salvaged a lot of ships in here. The more notable ones have been Centaur Mkl Hauler, four Demeter Super Freighters, Iguana, Vulture, Toucan Hauler and some M3 fighters. The Kha’ak have proven to be a great source of profits to me. My Demeter Sunkist has been cranking away with Ore, Silicone, and even some Nividium to keep the credits flowing. I have had to move out of sector every now and then to shake off some Marauders that have been hunting me. I took some time out to mapped out Priest Pity Sector from the south gate of. Split Fire. There is a Pirate base in there and I got some M5 kills to get the Paranid to grant me permission to dock at their station. I don’t think they like me much because they parked a Hyperion in front of the pirate base. I can not get any more kills in their sectors. I have received notice from the Sunkist that there are no trades to be made. I will map out the Argon sectors around Argon Prime for more station to trade with.
Elena’s Fortune Time for a change
I am the Shipyard in Elena’s Fortune repair my best BlastClaw M3. I have sold enough salvage to repair one ship and this one looks like it will soot my needs for now. I shall name this one Blast Hammer. The Centaur Mkl Hauler I salvaged is going to cost to much to repair at this point. At least it still has a 125MW shield intact. I will need to look into the hull regenerate upgrade that the Boron have.
Maps and Knowledge
I jumped to Argon Prime to start mapping the surrounding Argon Sectors.
A long the way I Stopped off at Antigone Memorial and was looking in the date bases for marking info and found some interesting documents on the Mokonzi Industrials search engines. I downloaded some articles from Kalah’s “Sector profits From Battles to Market profiteering”, Galder’s “Everthing you ever wanted to know about credits” and Secretgimp’s “So your want a piece of all markets trading”. These should past the time as I map these sectors. I think I’ll head west and have Vortex 1 map the sectors below me.
Fun, Games and a Friend
I have mapped most of the core sector by Argon Prime and my miner is back working hard again. I have found Steviocorp Shipyard down in CloudBase Southwest. I scan it inventory as I was heading for the east gate to the Ore Belt and notice that the OWP locked on to me. I decided to take a pass on that Station and opted for the gate instead. I enter The Ore Belt and order Vortex 1 to Elena’s Fortune. I was making my way across the system when I saw three Pirates on the scanner to the south. I think I’ll Give the Blast Hammer a little work out on a Falcon Vanguard, and two Harriers. I took a direct line to them and hailed the M3 just to make it interesting. His response was less the agreeable so, I lit him up. It’s amazing what 6 A-Heps do for an aptitude adjustment. I pound him down a bit quicker that I thought when he ejected and I watch his ship slam into an asteroid. Dam I could have sold that! As I was locking up on one of the two other Harriers the other one blew up behind me. I like turrets but, the fool was shredded before I could turn on him. So, I toyed with the last one for awhile before deposing of him to. I like this Ship.
I then continued toward the East gate when I received a distress call on my Com. I saw that it was an Oasis freighter so, I took the call and it turns out to be that Weaver guy I had drinks with in the Argon Prime Shipyards lounge. Here he over tuned his engine and they fused and left him a drift. I asked how I could help. He said he had an associate at the Trading Station that had obtained parts for him but, had no way to deliver them. I told him I was wrapping up my mapping and would be glad to pick them up. I then went to the Trading station and met up with an old man who was very concerned about his friend being adrift in the asteroid belt. After being load up, I assure the man that I was heading straight for Weaver and will beamed the parts over to him. Weaver said that he needed to finish a trade deal and I should take a look at the Oasis guild when I dropped off his supplies. He said he would get me an invite into the station. I am supposed to look him up and he would buy me some drinks and get familiar with Oasis. I said sure when I have time I would take him up on that drink but, I like being my own boss. He laughs and said the offer was still there. Well on that note I better get back to some more scavenging. I wouldn’t want to keep the Kha’ak wading trough all those derelict ships would I?
