After doing some missions for the Teladi organisation NMMC, I decided to pay a visit to an old ATF friend who is currently on liberty in Omicron Lyrae. Undocking from the NMMC HQ in my Springblossom I set the jumpdrive to target the North Gate of Omicron Lyrae and send a message ahead to my friend that I would meet him in the bar on the Trading Station.
Upon arrival in Omicron Lyrae, I receive a rather unusual communique from the Argon Military... Apparently, one of their Carriers has gone missing and the last communications strongly indicate that Yaki pirates may be involved.
Speeding over to the Trading Station, I decide to meet my old friend as planned then join the search after having a few drinks and a Cahoona steak meal.
Upon arrival at the bar, I see my old friend nursing a drink with a thoughtful look on his face. Walking up to him, he barely moves to acknowledge my presence. As I order myself a drink and the meal, my old friend picks up his drink moves over to one of the corner boothes.
After being served my drink, I instruct the barman to bring over the meal when it is ready, and head over to the booth. The bar was quietly buzzing with activity and the partly enclosed boothes made discrete conversations easy. Taking a swig of my drink, my friend starts to talk...
A few drinks and a meal later, we both depart the bar and my friend heads back to his ship in order to rejoin his wing that is based on one of the ATF Odins patrolling the new Terran Unknown Sectors. What I discovered during our evening left me feeling a little uneasy, but now I had a clear idea where to start searching for the lost Argon carrier...
Word had been circulating around the ATF that a Teladi has been floating around the central pirate sectors bemoaning about how he had made a big score but that his Yaki partner was now trying to renegotiate a bigger cut for himself.
With this information in hand I decide to search the central sectors for this Teladi and do some negotiating myself...0 Thanks, 0 Likes, 0 Dislikes
