A Terran Adventure (Part 16) - Hostile Negotiations

Upon arrival in Weaver's Tempest, I slam the throttle to 100% and zoom past the Yaki Sector patrol ships without giving them a second thought.

Homing on the ship signature beacon detailed in the Teladi's message I find a lone Yaki Susanowa Prototype. After noting that the Yaki ship was showing about as much interest in me as an asteroid does to a space fly, I comm the Yaki pilot and politely ask him for the information.

After a brief and sharp insult, the Yaki terminated the communication. Noting some assets near by that are registered to the Yaki, I prep-the matter/anti-matter launchers and target the satellite.

A quick fight later with the satellite and 3 of the 4 laser towers destroyed, the Yaki contacts me and says he will give me the information in exchange for replacing the satellite.

Considering this a fair exchange, I an advanced satellite at the location he indicated and then receive a burst data signal on a sub-channel with a message indicating that the Yaki boss had hidden the ship but that he had acquired a clue to the location of the ship and that he was transmitting it to me on the sub-channel.
