Gibts die Savage Claim Software noch?

I wanted to ask several questions on "How to play" XTC xtended mod since I am concerned about making long term mistakes (like I did many'o'times) without better understanding certain aspects of the game.


My overall goal would be to put myself on a path to attempt to do one of the following.

A) Pick a side to be on (say, Aldrin) & literally be against all other factions except for the one whose side I decided to "join" (ie Aldrin). Attack all other factions' ships, destroy facilities, raid, never trade with the other factions, rebuild my "aldrin empire" in their sectors...etc....
or

B) Pick no sides & simply be a "faction unto myself" & do the same above as in "A", but be literally be Myself vs all other factions.
or

C) Only be against Pirates, Yaki, Xenon, & Kha'ak

Note:I am leaning towards "C" because....well, I think I'll be pulverized without a snowballs chance in hell. Heck, a snowball might even have a better chance in hell, than I would at my skill level.


Having said the above here are some questions.

(1) Are each of those A, B, & C beyond the realm of possible in trying to achieve? For instance, I think I've read somewhere that players cannot take over sectors in xtm, only Kha'ak & xenon can (but I've heard that races can retake lost sectors).
Note: I've head about STO (sector takeover script) but did not want to use that if needed.


(2) Even if I cannot technically take/capture a sector, are each of those A, B, C goals unwise to attempt because I would be utterly crushed, or have virtually no way to make money (due to being at war & hated by everyone else)?

page 7 "The events on the other hand occur on their own & have absolutely no correlation to the player's activities."

I just wanted to be 100% sure that regardless of what I do as well as what it states above, it does not prevent nor initate those events. I truly have ZERO impact of triggering any events, correct?


(4) My in-game actions can in no way speed up, slow down, impact or otherwise alter the Universe Expansion Phases & their openining up of sectors, correct?


(5) If I get invovled in events, missions, or any other tasks within the game, do any of those actually trigger the game to End. I've never played a game long enough & do not know that answer; hence, I ask this because I want to play as if it is a 100% open box in which nothing I do causes the game to END.


(6) True/False
All the races are now neutral with each other, they don't invade each others sectors like they did in X3TC?


(7) True/False
There is collaboration between the races for the eradication of the Xenon seen during incursions into Xenon sectors?


(8 ) True/False
The races won't help defend each others' sectors against Xenon or Kha'ak. Furthermore, patrols stay within each races specific sectors.


(9) True/Flase
Pirates do not execute full invasions into race sectors?
