X1TP.com - X1 Mod, Ulfius's mods, DC's Ships .... sites

As the x1 site is still growing I'm still adding onto it and trying to get it right. Like an artist i will never be happy with my work but that doesn't stop me.

I have had a poll on the home page, with 5 votes ranging from -
"you need to start again"
to
"wow"

So that's no help, one thing that has been good to see is that people have been looking around the site and not just downloading. I have DC's Turret tutorial put together on the site and it has already had 40 odd views, also the news i have created have lots of interest.

The template I'm starting to be happy with, its got a balanced colour scheme, wide and easily accessibly layout that makes reading of the articles easy. The home page / Portal I'm not happy with so i will be trying to sort that.

but that's 'some' of my views, i would like some feedback from the users as well.

I'm trying to incorporate both German and English languages into the site, this gives the user the ability to switch between them by a click of a button. I have to be honest, i don't speak another language so i don't know if it is right or not. I am using a component "Joomfish" which can translate parts of your site on its own. Trouble is i don't know if it is even translating it right.

At the moment it is translating very little, parts of the download area have been translated and that's it so i am working on it. If you have any trouble with anything to do with the language or misspelling please use this topic to report it.

=DC=Shadow's ships: http://www.x1tp.com/dcshadow, this site will have detailed stats of the ships, pictures and updated downloads.

Please note: I have certainly not finished all the sites, some i have barely started, but i hope you can find your way around a little better now.
