Trouble un-docking pirate stations

I have been trying to build up some good rep with the pirate selling booze & weed. but has started to crash when i un-dock, I can still move the mouse and open some but not all menu's but nothing other than that happens. my first thought was a MD script or a job file gone bad with my XTM install ?

I don't know why this occurs. I have the same problem in rare cases on trading stations also. It's not a crash, your ship is simply not released. One solution is to dock by using the landing computer (Because your ship will land at a different position than the original docking proces has targeted for you). Try also to park a carrier, like a tl if you use one, more than 5 km away. If everything fails... you can order your ship by opening the command menu via your mouse (the small x in the lower right corner). Sometimes the ship won't react, try using your property menu and order your ship to go to position or order it to dock somewhere.

I think it's not a XTM issue but a pathing issue of the original game.
