now that Mox has misteriously left what will hapen to the BSG mod?
will it be delayed indefinately will it be continued?
sorry for such a question but due to our current situation it was the logical thing to ask

well as you can probably guess from this forum the dev work for this was done by Mox on his own as a side project, the rest of the team was concentrating on XTM 0.7

iirc most of the main ships are complete/near complete (as from previous comms with mox
i.e. Galactica, Viper MkII, Viper MkVII, Basestar, and the Raider

all else will be kept confidential :P

Hi @all

Iam new here and tryed your .6 Mod.

ITS AWESOME btw :lol:

But iam also a BSG fan and hope to find a "little" MOD here.

Its possible to get a "unfinished" MOD or somethink like that?

I tryed the manual Ship installer to get the BSG ships from the ES page. But your ships looking "better" (ups did i say that :roll: ....sry...)

Welcome!

As with the XTM mod - the team shall only release a finished and polished product!

I'm sure after releasing 0.7 the team will get around to developing this mod in full.

well we don't like saying time frames to the public however comforting it may be to know if it is late for any reason it disappoints many

lets just say it won't be re-started until .7 is out
only the ships have been moddelled, there are NO missions or special bsg styled mod work that have been started yet
so as you can probably guees it won't be for a while :-\

Rests to say that Edath works very hard to keep BSG mod alive. And most of the team definately wants to see it finished.
So please don't ask for a timeframe, it will get finished someday.

Ya i know.

Was only a question because i finished the X³ storyline after few days. so X³ was boring for me. Now i "refreshed" my love to X³ with your XTended Mod and also with the BSG-Ships from the official ES side.

I still cant wait for .7 and the BSG-Mod.

Iam sry that iam a new fan from your work.

Just as a matter of interest fellow X3ers in Germany have been busy developing their own BSG mod. Wish them every success.

@ LD - Hawkbs' egosoft thread (Hawkbs (http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=157852&start=0)) covers nearly every problem encountered with his ships. Have a read.... but generally make sure that your ship installer is up to date and that you do select update mod....

If someone can help ME :furious: - downloaded the German BSG mod - link above and placed the files in the mods folder - nice/interesting change of Hud / radar..... but no BSG ships at all !!!!!! Tried this mod last year and same thing happened...what am I doing wrong!!!!!

@edath:

1st) I tryed it few times. I have the new Ship installer and Co. I tryed it with version 1.04 and 2.01. With XTended and without. But i remember that all works with the old ship installer and 2.01+Bonus package. But atm no way.

2nd) I tryed the German Mod also and it didnt run on my X³ so far. :cry:

I tried the german mod as well. Place the Bsg.dat and security cat in the X3 Mod folder. The additional xml file needs to be placed in the scripts folder. Noticed the names of the ships don't appear correctly - just as ..... 'read text' raider etc. (will try again with the cheat script to see if they actual produce models.

To help you with the ship installer problems I unistalled everything I had concerning X3 and reinstalled everything.. BSG ships still worked with no problems - not sure how TO solve your dilemma really.

Try installing in this order (as I just did) (unistall everything first!)

X3 disc ------> latest patch ----> Cycrow's script manager + update ---> emp community plugins (2.01) available here (http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=119914) -------> ship installer + update ---->added BSG mod ships + update mod ----> select 'ship installer' mod on X3 setup screen.

Hope it works..... (if you still have problems post on Cycrow's ship installer problem thread on th ES forums - its probably something technical... available here (http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=156359)

Hey guys, nooby to X3 and all here so I thought i'd ask here since I can't get my forum account to work on the official X3 forum.

WHERE THE BLOODY POOF HAS MOX GONE? His Galactica model was the best I HAVE EVER SEEN made up to date. I mean Sci-Fi could literally use his Galactica model IN their show it is so good. Yet he has disapeared off the face of this planet since nov 7th 06?!?!

Please could anyone give me any details as to what has happend to mox and his shiney galactica from heaven? :( :( :( :( :?

Mox has been heavily involved in getting Xtended 0.7 out and I would recommend you to install the mod to view his and all the other Xtended team members efforts during the past months/year.

As far as I know, Mox's Galactica was last seen near the 'Ionian Nebula' and suffered some sort of power failure...
Repair work will resume in time! :lol:

Any updates/news regarding the BSG-Mod will be posted in this forum.
Please remember that Mox & all the other team members are working hard to ensure that Xtended 0.7 is patched and bug free so don't expect anything in the immediate future.

Aye it wasn't that I thought he didn't have a life or anything. It is just that I havn't heard any information regarding the mod or the shiney Galactica he made. Furthermore I mainly only did this post because his forum account "Mox" is nolonger valid. His name has turned white and is nolonger on the member's page. /shrug :P

However, what is this "Xtended 0.7" you speak of? Your forum is cluttered with somuch X2 mod stickies I cannot find anything major for X3 :( .

Very interesting and good work :) . Though the Galactica -Mox- made has left several BSG fan-friends of mine on our Ventrilo drooling without sleep. Could you pretty pretty please pass on the knowledge to Mox that ALOT of people would be in debt to him if he would finish his Galactica and release it to the drooling public? Thanks :D !!

Doh :cry: , I was actually asking in regards to him just finishing the Galactica and releasing the .xfs for regular use to tide people over until they did get back to the BSG mod :cry: . Sorry :P
