The
Skate is an upgrade of the Boron
Barracuda, commonly used by Boron military forces only.
The Skate was part of the Boron rearmament after the war with the
Split, during which it became clear that the old Barracuda was obsolete. As the military was given more funds to rebuild the navy, Boron designers cooperated with their
Argon colleagues and came up with a new
M3+.
The Skate is quick, well-armed, well-shielded and has enough firepower to take on any ship of its class.
