xtended 7.4 patch error

I have just updated my XTM to the 7.4 (using the patch, as i was running 7.3) and every time i load it up and start anew game, it comes up with an error message saying files are broken and soforth. I did it the way Aragon Speed said and this has happened, anny suggestions as how to fix it?

Do you only uninstall the script data, or all the files in the directory?

there are different error messages - what exactly does it say ? and by chance did you install something after XTM 0.74 ?

As AS says just uninstall the 0.73 patch with the plugin manager (not the core files!)Originally Posted by elcristoff
I had an any problem, i uninstalled 0.7.3 and installed 7.4. InstallShield ask me to overwrite some files and i enter with Ok, starting the savegame - Error, savegame maybe be broken, so couldn´t load the file.

what do your cat/dats look like ? 10 has to be XTM 0.7a and 11 will be replaced by the one from the installer ... anything higher ?

Hmm, if you uninstalled 0.7.3 then AFAIK the installation of 0.7.4 shouldn't overwrite any files.
Do you have other mods installed in addition to XTM?
i uninstalled 0.7.3, then cat/dat 11th was away. with 0.7.4 these files are installed in the folder.

I had a prompt to overwrite files after removiong 7.3 Xelonir ... but then again I dont have any problems running 7.4
