      Default Ships which work

      A thread for listing ships which work on basic XTM

      Even if we dont (yet) have permission it may be worth testing and trying to negotiate after. If we decide it isnt right then we need not fight for it :P


      Note for the things I'm testing I'm mainly just testing that they load correctly. Testing if things fit at docks etc without collisions is much more complex, and can be tested when I have installed all my scripts into being a real game :P. Just becayse it's here doesnt mean it's part of the pack in any way, just marked as being XTM compatible and something to think about

      Very nice texturing: small and very fast (209) trade ship with a small (490L) cargo and top class handling and a good enough turret and shields to protect from m5s/weak m4s. I believe there has been a call for mini tradeships/utility craft, this looks suitable

      EA - Skylark Commercial Transport (Balogt / Cycrow)

      A little subtle on the texture but it shows nicely in the light. Sexy ship for its class, an undershielded but fairly fast superfrighter

      Kyoto (DeadlyDa)

      Either the heaviest armed superfrieghter or the smallest TL, im not sure which. Works, and I can see a few potential uses for it as a mini carrier.

      A nice M7 (as in Hyperion style M7, something we are short on). would be deadly with AI, although low count of main guns isnt great for a player ship. It fills a gap though

      nice looking. supposed to be yaki hence it fits the superm4/badm3 style like the rijin. nice shields, weak on weapons apart from its MDs, looks hot. Could make for a mortal pirate

      Bird of Prey Hunter Class (Magrathean Monkey)

      Best looking ships i've seen yet. Undershielded but very very maneuverable M7. While we risk upsetting non trek fans, they probably would be too distracted by it's looks to notice it's a Klingon ship. A top notch personal ship too

      It's part of a number of ships by the same maker which are marked specifically as XTM compatible (test them anyway), and all come both with or without cockpit (i've taken the non cockpit version)

      Federation Excelsior Class Refit (Magrathean Monkey)

      Nice model, true to the original. Old and underarmed but well shielded, it isnt useless (unless it's expensive). The refit takes gamma ppcs, the older only betas but takes flaks. both take kyons. Could be an interesting option
