Good, something to do in those free time December days. But it won´t be enough to keep me busy for long :P
I´ll be back when I finish the translation of the manual.

Evening all,
To try and help reduce the amount of questions while we are doing the final polishing to the mod, we have decided to release the manual early so you can all see what is going to be available for use. ^^
Just to warn those who want everything to be fresh when they start the mod, reading the manual will give you some huge spoilers. So don't complain about it as you have been warned. ^^
So without further ado, here is the XTC V1.0 Manual.

Nice thanks, but now I have a question. The bailing description was a bit vague, does it also include NPC vs NPC bailing, as I like playing the whole salvage game thing. Are there plans to add a salvage vessel (if there isn't one already)? I had hopes (and still do) that there is NPC salvagers and NPC vs NPC bailing or at some point an add on.

The universe is no longer player-centric. All ships have a chance to bail no matter who is attacking them. Whether that's the player attacking NPC ships, NPC ships attacking NPC ships or NPC ships attacking Player owned ships, they all have exactly the same chance to bail.

Thanks for the quick reply. I like where you guys went with it and I already have a clean install waiting for it.TTYL, let me know if you need anything.

Don't expect space to be littered with derelicts though, due to the much higher number of ships having the ability to bail, we have dropped the chances of them doing so, so it doesn't a) clog the universe up with abandoned ships, and b) turn into a cash cow.
To answer the other part of your orig question which I forgot to address, there currently aren't any NPC salvagers as we had to drop scripting them due to time constraints and more important things that needed scripting attention. Currently the bailed ships are destroyed after a certain time (longish timer). Full NPC salvagers are still planned for a future release though.

Thanks again for the reply.
But, now you gone and done it, I was happy and content waiting for the release to come along, no matter how long that was. Now that I've seen the manual... Well, it's like buying an ice cream cone in front of your kids and eating it all while they watch. :P So, evil!

I specialise in evil.

A quick question with regards to scripts and vanilla... In the manual it states having a vanilla install of X3:TC patched to the current compatible patch for XTC (Which I'm assuming will be 3.0) What it doesn't note is with regards to the Bonus Pack scripts (I'm aware that atm most scripts won't/may not work with XTC, but does that include the BP scripts?) There's a mention of turbo boost in the manual, is that a replacement of the BP one or not and will the BP version conflict? IE how will the Bonus Pack scripts work with XTC?
