      Default bailing workaround ?

      First, i know there are already loads of threads about the bailing CTDs and all that but i couldn't find something like a viable workaround until the fix is released. So, are there any workarounds for this ?

      Hiya, I was just lookin at the ego post you refer to cus I'd really like to apply it to my games but I see it needs some other stuff to run correctly.

      Do we XTC users need to install the community config menu & the JSON parser librairy or are they included in XTC already like the Salvage Claim Command is from the recommended list?

      Fixing this without breaking some other game mechanic would make my day..

      You need to install everything it asks for, the community config menu thing adds a new hotkey that opens a config window where u can config the bailing script (among other things), pretty much like the XTC bailing config. Without it you wont be able to configure your bailing script as the community config menu isnt included in XTC (as far as i know). About the libraries, idk , ive installed em too.

      As i said, till now, no apparent issues.

      I tried it and it works no crashes at all, trouble is though that 1 sec after they bail their ship blows up everytime.

      It probably has to do with conflicting settings in xtc, do you set the bailing chance for each different class of ship to 0.00% and is that the only thing important to change in xtc?

      Hmm i thought i was the only one having the blowing up issue ... all ships which pilots bail blow up ...
      I think setting the bailing chances to 0% in XTC bailing isnt enough as part of the script still works and disabling the whole module isnt possible because its locked in AL (IIRC).
      But then, i have no clue about modding/scripting stuff here so i could be totally wrong.

      Tried a lot of different settings in XTC to match default bailing addon settings but stuff just keeps blowin up.

      Hoping Alex(or any1 else) reads this and can tell us what settings he is using for this to work

      Nothing from the community is included in XTC, anything that has a similar function has been written from scratch by us just because it makes sense to have that functionality present in XTC.

      Default See Tech support bail Crashing in 1.1 thread

      The answer to why the bailed ships are blowing up is probably that you have not added the XTC.Task.Boarded script as described in the Tech support Section, thread Bailing Crash in 1.1.

      The workaround works just fine for me but I did need to also use the latest Cycrow lite plug in Manager. Please make sure to read the full thread not just the first page.
