I hope that you guys can find someone soon. To have your scripter drop out this late in the game....well that really sucks. I wish him the best with his real life, though, and hopefully he'll be able to work through them.
I'd love to help the team directly, but I've mostly been playing with the mission director and haven't looked at the script editor too much....

Sorry to hear there are still problems with the scripting, I've got faith in the XTC team and don't think you will have to wait too long for a replacement. You have done great work already with 1.2 etc.It would be nice if you could get Gazz or Cycrow to do some scripting, they done some great work in TC.

Jack08 from XTL has jumped into the breach to help out with scripting so we are now back on track. Also the 24 hour bug has been found and fixed. For those of you who are interested it was a bad check in a script causing an infinite loop bug.

I am not a team member, But I will say SE'ers lately are hard to come by. Believe me I look for the most recent and only found Sartorie. All others are 6 months out to 2 years last activity. There are scripters doing some great game interface stuff (NDA can't spoil it) but that SE side needed alittle more expertise to locate it.
And to a NON SE'er (like myself, but willing to learn) its like sticking them in a large "round room" and saying the bug is in the corner.it takes Finesse and a keen eye to come in mid steam and find it so quickly. so yes kudos Jack to getting it back on track.
But that is just one area of all the time those guys have coded in scripts to make many of the other mission for enjoyment, music, ships, graphics, directors and story lines. So we can not forget all those guys work bring us all another evolution of creativity.
