      Default Are these few scripts mostly compatible with XTC?

      Hello and sorry for the mostly pointless topic, but I'm very excited in starting Terran Conflict!

      After abandoning Reunion XTM for good since my old HDD died out and I lost everything, I decided to try something NEW!

      So i came up with this short list of scripts that hopefully work well with XTC:
      - System Takeover (i read in a sticky that this is actually recomended)
      - Anarkis Carrier Defense (mostly because it says it improves the following 3 scripts)
      - Yaki Armada and Pirate Guild
      - MARS turrets (i read taht this one needs the community plugin config to work properly right?)
      - Khaak Invasion (MORE CHAOS)
      - Race Responce Fleets (EVEN MORE CHAOS, although i am aware that xtc offers its own version of rrf and that it can hijack plot ships)
      - Custom Wing Manager
      - Reduced Enemy Missiles count

      These are all of them. I did go through the wholo script list in the sticky, but I sorted them very fast. Basically I want to add more life to the universe and not add scripts that make life easier such as "jump to station" or other "shortcut commands".

      So what do you guys think, should i give them a try or remove some of them? Also suggested xtc compatible scripts are highly appreciated.

      PS: Does XTC add ATF shipyards? The only regret in XTM was that I didn't get that damn Terran Aegir (beautiful beautiful ship :P)
      I'm considering adding the ATF Shipyard script but I'm worried it may break XTC. Also it seems the script is included into Terran Revitalization script, but that requires TC version 3.2 and XTC works with 3.1 right?

      Edit: Another question that hopefully does not require another topic. Does the Split Python get any improvements in XTC? I read that they ruined it after Reunion and only in Albion Prelude it got some improvements. Is there any way, maybe to import the Python files from AP into TC?

      STO fully compatiple,
      Yaki Armada and Pirate Guild should be fully compatiple, just ask the forums known privateers .
      Anarkis should be compatiple too.
      MARS as pointed out, needed a little bit of tinkering, iirc.
      Khaak Invasion isn´t really needed, as you can configure them through the XTC config menu. Same goes for Xenon.
      RRF, no clue.
      Custom Wing Manager should be fully compatiple.
      Reduced enemy Missiles count, idk.

      as for ATF Shipyard: didn´t the ATF SY Script come packaged with a pair of cat/dat, if so, stay away! Otherwise you might have to tweak it here and there.

      Welcome to the forums daskallu!

      From your post I understand you have not played XTC yet and already want to add scripts! XTC is different from XTM and specially in a few weeks when version 2.0 comes out (if everything works out that is).

      In XTC the team changed so many aspects of Terran Conflict that a script like "Reduced Enemy Missles" won't be needed at all.
      I'm not using MARS or any of the scripts you've listed and have had to learn new skills but with the countermeasures XTC provides it's very doable to fight a bunch of missle spamming enemies without being blown to bits.

      Sector take over, Yaki and Pirate addons will surely make 1.2a more interesting but my advice would still be to give the mod a shot before installing anything, then add stuff along the way only when there is a specific need for it.

      Version 1.2a isn't a finished game and you'd like RRF there i think although all the new sectors, ships and shipupgrades should keep you busy untill 2.0 comes out imo.

      Thank you for the welcome and replies .

      I think RRF is sort of incompatible now. Whenever I try to go into Conrad sector from the split starting sector, the game freezes, sounds can be heard looping in the background and the only way out is to restart the PC. When I removed it, it seemed to fix this problem. But it still needs more testing.

      I saw that XTC has an option for missiles, so i removed the other script. I'm basically only running the yaki armada, pirate guild, mars and carrier defense now.

      Also are HUDs compatible. I keep reading that most don't work with XTC. I've installed the military hud (also used it in xtc) and it seems to work just fine. It's installed as a "fake patch" i think (16.cat 16.dat). :P
