Yep, they surely does.. Also the God engine has the habit to make stations disappear, so make sure you dont have too many ships randomly docked throughout the X Universe.

Hiya Peeps,
Ahh D!S, if you have a ship parked at a station, GoD won't directly remove that station from the universe.... (it get's those mentioned below to do it's dirty work for it...![]()
)
The only reason GoD removes stations is if they aren't producing anything primarily due to lack of sufficient resources in the same &/or surrounding sectors.. IE: it's running out of mineral resources such as ore &/or silicon.. (NOTE: it's mainly NPC factories GoD will remove, I don't think it will remove SPP's.. I know it won't remove SY's {shipyards} & EQ's {equipment docks}, it will not remove player owned stations either)
It's the pirates/yaki/khaak/xenon/race military that are the ones responsible for destroying the station you may have had a ship docked at....
Cheers & Thranx

Ah, maybe that's why i've lost my two Argon Nova.. They were parked at the SPP in Scale Plate Green, but when i've checked the sector, there wasnt any form of hostile activity (probably got cleared by Teladi patrols before i've got the chance to see who was the culprit)..
The SPPs are removed as well and i was surprised to see how the God does the operation.. It simply sends a TL to the unwanted station and when in range, the station goes *poof* like into a magic show..
Cheers,

From many game hrs, I have seen pirates kill that SPP many times, but it did respawn. Tip... If you must park a ship use the Trading stations,
1. They hold up a lot longer, and the GOD engine does not see them as producing stuff as far as I know.
2. You will still be able to view all the stations in that sector becuase your ship is in that sector.
3. Most times choose Trading Stations or other stations are in the path of military ships going sector to sector. This way if a pirate is attacking a station the local military ships will pass close and knock out the threat.
However if you are parking a ship at a station to keep it in the game is another story all together. Have fun Gaming!
