I haven't had a chance to work on the pilot yet, as I have been busy texturing the Viper MK1 for Diaspora. I use Sonar too but it's very buggy on my computer for some reason, and ever since I bought this new computer, I haven't been able to make it work on ASIO4ALL, really hoping to fix it. I have Eastwest Symphonic Orchestra Gold and Eastwest Stormdrum, which has some awesome bsg-ish taiko drumming.

Do you use IRC or any other communication?

- Nice. I've got the kompact and Play versions of these in amongst other things. It is worth paying a visit to the sonar forums and making a search on the asio4all setup problems. I presume your using a built in sound card. Which version of Sonar?

Ice Dragon, Hawkbs and I use Msn messenger to communicate. I'm currently away at my parent's home (grandparent' & grandchildren time). Hopefully Ice Dragon can chime in and supply you with the details via pm later on. I should be back in a few days.

Hi all, I'm totally new to the X universe of games and have only become interested because of this mod. I have been following it on and off in the hope that it will come out soon but have become slightly concerned over the recent lack of chat on the site. I mainly live on the BSG Fleet Commander website but I have no real modding or designing experience although I have coded my own levels on the BSG Fleet Commander mod (which are not in the official releases).

Thanks for the interest - yep, your right it can get a bit quiet round here. Bsg for x3 has always been a funny old thing - most of the modding/playing community always like to include the various ships from BSG in their games. But a full mod hasn't always been a mainstream idea.

Anyhow... the team here and the Transcend team have agreed to work together on producing a BSG mod - but alas a number of modders have been hit by RL issues - the intention is to make sure we carry as soon as we can.

A number of us have invested a lot of time and worked a lot on this project and will want to see it succeed..

Hope it clears up any concerns

Hello, I have been playing BSG mod 1.8 for about a month now and it really brings X3 to life for me. I have Reunion but found it a little bit hard. TC seems more user friendly and I am now able to build complexes and conduct patrols with a battlestar and two wings of viper mkVII. I like the mass drivers as they add the 'authentic' tv realism. I understand that there will not be any more development along this line, sad to hear. The BSG mod makes the game come alive for me, partly because it has ships I recognize. Now if only I can find the right armament for the battletsars.
