[CUSTOM STARTS] New Custom starts for XTM

I'm proud to present to you new costum starts for XTM, these costum starts are made by Yaki a German member of the XTM-Community. I’m only translated it for him, because his English isn’t so good.

He created this starts, because he thought that most of the original starts are too easy or too heavy.


Multiple race custom starts:

After resting for a few days in the unknown sector, you repair the other ships then you decided to carry the Aran with an m6 to the closest shipyard.

Note: The Aran is hardly damaged, so don’t worry if it will take some time for it to get through a gate when you entering a new sector.

Trading Goner

description: You are a rich Goner, or rather you used to be. You often advanced money to the goner, but you never get it back. When you start as Xenon you must tell your ships that Xenon’s aren’t your enemies! You have enough Xenon rep. so don’t kill them. Xenon stations will stay hostile, but you can hack them.

When you switch from LP to HP, you don’t need to restart the game, only wait some times (mostly 1 hour) to let the NPC ships respawn.

The “ingame name” is the name which is displayed in the X3 Menu, this is a German version of the castum starts. Maybe there will be an English version in the future.

When you want to have the PHQ, you have to restart the game or use the PHQ unlock script. When you have restarted or started a new game, there’s a new shipyard in Kingdoms End.

The script will add a Cat 12 to your game, which includes the job-file for this starts.

When you use an GUI-Mod or another mod, which is using the 12.cat, rename it in 13.cat/dat before ypu instal the new costum starts.

Installation Guide:

1. Download and unpack the file above.
2. Then copy the maps and scripts folders to your X3 Reunion folder.
3. open Cat~Dat
4. Chose if you woud like to have the high performance (more NPC's, need more recourses) or the low perforamce (less NPC's, less recourses)
5. Open the folder that you have choosed
6. copy the types folder to your X3 folder
7. Open Cat~Dat
8. copy the two files into your X3 folder


FAQ

Q:
I'd like to know if I need to rename cat/Dat files (which are in archive) to the number bigger then largest in game folder or replace cat/Dat files in my game folder.

A:
You have to rename it. So whne you have an 12 cat/dat rename the cat/dat in the archive to 13...

Q:
And where appear this custom start's.I've downloaded the file's,i put them into the X3 folder but when i've entered into the game the custom start's do not appear into my menu.[/QUOTE]

go to new game -> selfcreated Game (don't know the correct english term) -> there are your new costum starts

All the starts are great ( i tested the 1.4 version before)
The ships name is on german but that shouldn't bother anyone
(it adds some spice to the game)

There will be a new Shipyard in Kingdoms End, which name will be "Bala Gi Headquarter", it sells the PHQ for round about 200 Million credits

- In starts where you not liked by the borons, you will able to get the PHQ at an Pirate shipyard

- And last but not least: a english Version

When you switch off you Modem or Router and switch it on again you´ll have a other IP adress

Now you are able to download again :P

But sometimes it happens that you get a IP adress which has already downloaded something ..... but this is a chance from 1:1000000 :P
