View Full Version : Music Final Assault - an oriental track

Hiya again. After trying (unsuccessfully) for two days to create an ambient track based on a digeridoo, I basically gave up on that idea for now, and instead put together something opposite - a fast-paced oriental-themed track.

As usual, all feedback/tips appreciated :)

*P.S. The above track may induce slight ringing for the duration of the track, so volume button discretion is advised.

Previous 4 tracks are still found in the old thread: http://www.thexuniverse.com/threads/19513-Outskirts-Duality-and-Agitation-first-attempts-at-making-music

Funny piece of music, and I don't have anything to criticize or object. However, although it's a round and nice track, I don't see any use of it in the game, except a mission or something. It's not menacing to suit as a combat track, but on the other hand too pressing and evident for a sector soundtrack.

These tracks never had the intention to be used in the game/mod - it's more or less a plain track, hence it is accessible to the public :) And thanks for the kind words :D

Hey Eli ^^ - I see you are spacing wide with styles...

But, seeing your 'status' "is struggling to make a strong counter-melody" i feel the obligation to post here this link ;) http://www.kunstderfuge.com/theory.htm

I know it's not one of the most exciting readings for a summer day, but i'm sure it'll come in handy for your 'research' :)

Oh and be sure to read this: http://www.kunstderfuge.com/theory/stone/roadmap.htm A beautiful image that describes the fugue structure...
