      Default X3:tc?

I kinda just got X3: Reunion, and have been playing it with XTM since. Now that TC has come out, i was wondering if it was worth shilling out all that money for something that to me sounds like a simple expansion pack, which basically does the same thing as XTM...

Has anyone else played it and what have they found better than XTM?

X3::TC has an complete reworked interface, that will you give much more information, what youre doing. It contains a lot of XTM and also five new Storylines, each longer than all X-Storylines together. Also it brings new missions, sectors, effects and ships, additional to the XTM-Content. I would not call it better than it, but t extends everything alot more another time.

If you like X3 and/or XTM, X3::TC is a Must Buy. And it isnt a Full-Price-Game

Really? its 39.99 on steam, thats full price for a PC game in the US...

I wish they had a demo so i could check it out before i shelled the cash. I enjoyed X:3 and i see no reason to buy TC. Can you at least open multiple menus in TC?

      Here it's ~37 as compared to 50-60 for a full-priced game.

      (Now if you calculated that into $s ... 1 = 1.34$ ATM ... )

I played xtm a lot, and added other scripts to make a even better game. I have had TC now for 3 days, and I spent more time than I'll admit on it.(my door has been bolted for a day or two) The game is very nice, but not like the other X games, from my opiniun, the amount of missions of diferent types is staggering, and the new ships look great. I started in Omicron as a argon patriot, but that doesnt begin to explain it, as I now have a wing of ships that you actually own, given to you in game. I have capped 6 good ships so far, 5 L's and a Viper bomber during a mission, but a khaak corvette destroyed it before getting it to safety, and they werent even in the mission, so you can see, the game is very active and fun. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a new bomber to replace, creapy khaak anyways, lol.

So many ships, so little time

The Pirate Viper I had for a few minutes was very B5 looking, with 700 cargos and it said 2 turrets, but it counted the main missile launcher as one, and the other was a laser turret. The only thing I didnt like was the fact it only used 1 missile, not a good assortment, just 1 heavy missile, and the lasers, but with something like 100 meg of shields, I was hoping to use it as a wingleader and haul marines in it, but we're not allowed, they have to have special ships for that, but still, it was a good looking ship, and would make a good heavy fighter, if you could use more diferent kinds of missiles in it. While trying for that, I did get a TP class transport that you CAN haul marines in, so now we'll see what to do next.
